  1. It is propbably just an effect of having the metal next to the white tooth, however you want to make sure you double up on your cleaning routine.

I highly recommend the rotadent toothbrush when wearing braces as it has soft brissels that are easy on the gums.

Flossing is also a biggie, and even thought it takes much longer, it is worth it to keep your teeth and gums in good shape while going through braces treatment.

  2. OMG! Yeah, same here... I've had braces since September and I noticed that shadows are causing the darkness. Your teeth will also look smaller, too. But when they come off I suggest you use teeth whitener because there will be marks on your teeth that you'll first need to scrape off all the way and then whiten to give the full effect of the brand new teeth you've wanted :)

  3. yeah it is the shadows... i was thinking that yesterday. i just quit smoking so the yellow is something different. use whitening toothpaste and make sure you floss and brush daily. the better you take care of them, the better they will look!

  4. shadows

  5. i guess like all metal..it has a rusting effect....i wish i had a better answer for your question but i honestly have no idea.

  6. yeah its prolly jus shadows

  7. Well if you have light colored bands they tend to make your teeth look darker... you'll get used to it. Maybe get a darker color next time.

I had a lot of questions too when i first got mine...dont worry! lol
