Question:

Why do my thighs kill me after I sprint?

Last year durring track the same thing happened when I was sprinting 200m then I couldn't continue because my thighs hurt too bad so I was out of track the rest of the year. However, I couldn't sprint but I could run like miles and things.

This year the same thing is happining again!!!

Please help me on what I can do to take the pain again and start running as soon as possible

  1. ice is nice. maybe you tore a ligament or something? im not sure but that has happened to me as well. what i do is i just block it out untill im dont then go ice immideatly after running. it helps.

  4. You're either...

    -out of shape

    -not training hard enough

    -injured

    -training your slow twitch muscles and not your fast twitch.

    -not eating enough potassium and just cramping up from it.

    that's all i can think of. hope you run fast again! :]

  5. Try talking to a trainer or a doctor but in the mean time I would go as easy on them as you can and ice them after you run.
