  1. The USA puts people in jail and death row for ever I here other countries put people straight to Death! I'd think about it a little harder wouldn't you???!!!! People of other nationalities tend to cry"Racism/Prejudism" also and then the famous "I have political amnesty"

  2. I don' t think  that  Japan's lower crime rate can be explained by its homogeneous population. I think it is more due to the fact that owning firearms is illegal, and also that Japan, traditionally, is a far more rigid society than America is.

  3. They may have stricter governments or more gun control. The USA is particularly bad about guns, though I have no idea why. Also, thgh I think someone already said it, if you have different cultures people are more likely to fight with each other. You should watch Bowling for Columbine, it kinda talks about this.

  4. Obviously when people of different cultures mix there are tensions that are created.  There will always be those people in any culture who are unbending and unwilling to asscimillate in anyway.  But the GREAT thing about America is that, for the most part, MOST of us DO accept other cultures and we learn and grow richer and stronger in the end. Change never comes without some problems, but acceptance and being open to what others have to teach us from their cultures makes us all happier and wiser in the end.
