    the popular trying to stay popular.

    the nerds are the only ones using their brains.

  3. Because if it weren't for we sesquipedalion and gratuitously verbose members of the species Homo sapien, the entire race of "intellectual superiors" would slip through the ranks, leaving humans *gasp!* as the substructure of the food chain!

    i don't think nerds do rule the world; if they did, the world would be prosperous and thriving rather than...the way it is.
