  1. thats perfectly normal.

don't stress. just try and rock her and console her as much as possible when she gets them.. they can be sometimes painful for little tummies

  2. swallowing too much air

  3. Mine too.  Dr. says immature digestive system,

  4. Newborns tend to swallow more air then adults do.  Sometimes it has to do with a immature digestive tract as well. Nothing to worry about.

  5. I don't know about swallowing too much air as the reason.  My son had hiccups so often during my last few months of pregnancy.  At first I thought it was cute, but then it drove me just nuts!  And there's no air there!

A hiccup is the diaphram's way of trying to get out of the way of being in pain or from irritation.  If the belly is too full, perhaps caused by swallowing air, it is a natural reaction.  This is why too, most adults get them when they eat something spicy or heavy.

  6. lol usually hiccups is caused from getting to much air, maybe try tilting the bottle up a little more so she doesnt get as much :)
