I am sure they squeeze that case into their discussions. That way these supporters would not get something they do not deserve.

  1. As I understand it, reparations are a civil matter, meaning it's like a class action in which one group is suing another to get  money.  I'm not sure, but I don'[t believe the role of the supreme court is to sit on civil cases, just  criminal.

  2. They can't do that. First, they would have to have a case in front of them in which to rule on. Second, their ruling would only apply to that case. It would set a precedent, but the courts have no basis for saying that a state government can not decide it wants to pay reparations if the legislature wants to pass a bill doing so.

  3. There will never be reparations for heirs of slavery victims.

Reparations can only be awarded to living victims.
