Question:

Why do old generations suffer from inferiority complex?

I have noticed that a lot of people over 40 suffer from deep rooted inferiority complex and often consider themselves inferior to today's generation. Why is that? They want their children to have qualities that they lacked. Every parent wants that but their degree of inferiority is much higher.

I am glad to be a part of today's generation. We don't suffer from such insecurities and we live life to the fullest.

  1. i don't want to bust your bubble but what you see as inferiority is the older generation trying to be gentle with you because they know you will not accept logic.  Call that inferiority if you must but in reality it is only understanding which you also will experience some day and I hope you have the wisdom to do it as well.

Today would be my father's 111 birthday, if he were still alive.  I have a 19 y/o daughter just graduated from NYU.  That probably stretch your concept of generations.

You need to stop thinking you have all the answers and open you mind to what you don't know.  That makes you smart.
