Why do old people insist my vw cabriolet is a girl's car?

So about a year ago I bought a 1987 vw cabriolet. It only has 20.000 miles and is in good shape and gets good gas mileage so i figured hey why not. Now my friends make fun of it and call it nerdy or whatever which i understand based on the shape. But old people always bring up that its a girl's car or a g*y car. What am i missing? Why is it a girls car but a rabbit isn't?

  1. What color is it?

  2. lol

You've got it bad when even old people are callin' your car grily.

  3. If it has four cylinders and is front wheel drive, it's a chick car.  Yes that puts those little Honda's and such that the little wanna be hot rodders driving in the same catagory.

  4. Just come out of the closet or get the s*x change over with already!

  5. hahaha it is a girls car young lad

  6. Your car is not girly, you just don't feel the need to make up for any shortcomings like the little short boys above^^^^^^^^

I drive a jetta vr6 and wouldn't trade it for anything bigger, its all about ego for alot of people. Keep your rabbit man and customize it, lower it and put some nice BBS rims on it. Some new recaro seats and a nice headliner can really set your car apart. Enjoy the gas mileage cause its prob pretty good! Plus you can take chicks to the beach and make out with em under the stars......tell me its a chick car when your scoring big time!

  7. There are some badass Cabbies out there; hit this forum and take a look: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=... Ignore the retarded comments. If it only has 20K on it I can imagine its in immaculate shape. Cheers!

  8. Because of the name? I have no idea. Maybe old people think men should only drive trucks...

  9. Any VW is a girl or g**s car, thats how it is, get a mans vehicle.
