  1. i don't know but my uncle said he needs a cattle prod for when it happens.

  2. that's just part of being old, your body will obviously fail you. i'm 22 and sometimes i find it frustrating and odd on how some people can just walk so slow. its like its hard to imagine that taking one step takes alot of effort. but i'm not old yet so i can't understand what they feeling. but we shouldn't complain about old people's pace, because we'll never know how we'll be when we're old. may be even worse.

    ***EDIT***

move to the side of the pavement? lol! i understand what youre feeling. old people are a burden.

  3. I marvel at the way young people are completely clueless on what it's like being old >>

    • Often, you're either constipated or incontinent

    • Your knees are shot, your breath is short

    • Your memory is on the fritz & often has CRS (Can't Remember Sh*t)

    • New technology is driving you batty & having to press 20 different buttons on the telephone, just to talk to someone human is going to put you over the edge.

    • Con men & swindlers find you to be easy prey as you are frail & trusting

So, with all that going on, the least you could do if someone stops in front of you, is to have the decency to ask: "Are you all right?"  I mean, most of  us carry cell phones to call 911 if the person is experiencing chest pains or having a stroke.

    Show some compassion will you?

  4. I don't mind if people stop for a second, it's when a group of people (not that I'm implying anything, but often of the older generation...) stop in the middle of a pavement to have a natter. And you have to go around them, on the road, because they're too busy gassing to notice other people.

  5. be aware of old folk ,anticipate their next action and don't walk too close behind them

  6. I know it's one of the most annoying things ever!!

You'd think because they are older that this would mean that they are wiser too - surely with all the years that they have lived they should know by now that you shouldn't stop in the middle of the pavement when there are loads of people trying to get somewhere

Another thing I hate about old people is the fact they they take all the morning and late afternoon/evening appointments at the doctors/dentists when they have all bloody day to go but no they choose to go at a time when all the people who work need to go

Then when I need to go to the bank or try and get something to eat on my lunch break - everywhere is teaming with diddery old poeple - like I said before - if they went to the doctors at lunch times, the town/city centres will be freed up for the workers to get something to eat and that.

  7. Possibly because they are in pain, or short of breath.  I don't suppose it will ever happen to you though; you are obviously superior.

  8. Probably because they ARE old, and cant walk the same as they did when younger, or they could have some illness. You'll be there yourself one day, old age comes to us all.

  9. Because there bodies dont take it quite aswell as young people. im 14 and i think you'll find its more polite to say why cant Teens wait insteed of goin in the road. maybe you could take into accont that they might need help maybe you could just smile and say hello are you orite?  im 14 andd i think its quite rude some ppl think there over others.!. were all equall be treated how u want to be treated.
