Gambling is very popular in the oriental community. They believe in luck and fortune.Therefore compared to other races of people, they have a larger segment of their race that gambles, so of course they will win more.

Because they spend the most time there?  At least around here they do.  My wife works at a local indian casino and the bulk of the customer base is of Asian decent.  

So it's not a matter of race but a matter of frequency.  And my wife can tell you all about it, having earned a Master's in statistics.  Take any two people and the person who spends the most time gambling at a casino is obviously going to win more - more chances = more wins.

But because of that, they're also SPENDING more at the casino.  Which means whatever they win most likely doesn't come close to what they've lost.

Well, I've seen statistical reports on it, so I don't see how it's racist. Asians make up a pretty huge part of the casino crowd. Although "oriental" is a sketchy word, it's usually not intentional.

But it seems to be a purely cultural thing. There isn't a huge reason beyond it being more common in Asian culture. I've heard casinos in Asia compared to bars in America. It's a social thing.

I'm not sure they win more, though. I suppose if there are 20 people wearing hats, and 15 people not wearing hats, there will be more people with hats who are winning.
