Why do other countries hate the USA?

I mean in all aspects not just the Olympics. I always hear people bashing us, but there is a never-ending line of people trying to get in. We have bailed out other countries plenty of times and have great relations with almost all countries. Is there a better place to live than the USA? Honestly, I hear people say that all the time but is it just me because I live here? If there is a better place where and why? Also, why do you hate us?

Do some travelling and you will see that the US is not that great a place, there are many countries much better to live (with far better conditions and lifestyles) in around the world. Don't believe everything you see or hear in your own media...take off the blinkers, get out and see for yourself...you will be amazed at what a fantastic world is out there...

I DON'T NO WHY BUT YOU ARE NOT LIKED MUCH. MAYBE IT THAT OUTSIDE OF THE USA THERE IS OTHER COUNTRY'S  SOME SAY YOU WANT TO POLICE THE WORLD AND JUST WANT OIL SO START A WAR AS IRAQ THEY WAS DOING NOTHING BUT YOU WANTED SOMETHING THAT'S NOT YOURS SO MAKE UP A STORY THAT THEY GOT WAR HEADS THIS AND THAT...BUT BUSH WANTED IT JUST LIKE

MAY FRIEND IS IN THE ARMY AND SOME US GI WELL WAS ON HIS BASE BUT WHEN UNDER ATTACK THEY HAD A DRILL KEEP YOU ARMOR ON AT ALL TIMES AND NEVER BE 3 FEET AWAY FROM HAT AND GUN AT ALL TIMES.WELL IT GETS BOOMED AND ATTACKED 3 TIMES MOST DAYS WELL THE US JUST LOOK WALK ABOUT BRUSHING THERE TEETH IN THERE SHORTS.THEY

DONT LIKE OR WANT TO LISTEN OR HELP THEY KNOW BETTER

A WEEK LATER 3 OF THE BOYS GOT KILLED AT THE BASE JUST WALKING ABOUT.THEY NEVER WANTED OUR HELP..BUT WHEN THERE MEN ARE PINNED DOWN AND HAVE 500 MEN AT THE BASE WHO DO THEY ASK FOR HELP OR CAN YOU GET THEM BACK OUR BOYS ARE ALWAYS READY TO LEND A HAND THEY GOT THEM BACK TO THE BASE BUT THEY DONT LIKE EACH OTHER . HE SAY THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE UK BUT ARE AWARE THAT AT ONE 2 ONE FIGHTING THEY ARE POOR IN TERMS OF HAND 2 HAND COMBAT AND THATS  WHY THERE ARE NOT ON GOOD TERMS AND NOT LISTENING IS THERE WAY OF HAVING A GO BACK.

ME I HAVE NOT GOT A PROBLEM WITH THE POEPLE  FROM THE USA

There is a difference between another country's "government" and their "citizens."  In my personal experience from traveling abroad, at least in Asian countries, they do not hate us (Americans).

In fact they look up to us, admire our entertainment, music, films etc.

This is not to be mistaken with a country's government. But even some other countries' governments don't necessarily hate the USA. I think people in the US like to create a false image per se, that other countries hate or are jealous of the US. I have traveled abroad and I can tell you that is not the case.

Keep in mind though that I have not been to any nations where terrorism is high. Basically it's like this: Terrorists and/or a country's government might not like the US, but there are so many everyday citizens in countries abroad that like America, and don't even think about the politics.

I have not been to every single country on Earth, but from the numerous countries I've traveled, let me tell you, a lot of countries do not hate the US, especially a lot of Asian countries

Because when you are #1, are at the top, everyone wants to knock you down.   They are jealous of our country, our people, our freedom but yet any chance they get, they will watch our movies, want everything we have.  Intelligent stupidity.  Just check out some of the answers in the Olympics category and how many thumbs down I will get.

It is because Americans are self righteous hypocrites imposing their dogmas to other countries that are supposed to be independent

It is because Americans hate non-Americans and non-American values....and very intolerant to cultural differences and think their way is the only way

I dont hear others bashing Americans in YA only Americans bashing China.

There are lots of places better than USA and most countries outside the US are living the true meaning of freedom not the pseudo-freedom you have

Many people come to US because of Money not because they like the Americans.

LOL ! are you kidding !?  im gunna try not to be rude, but i mean honestly, just what IS happening in the olympics starts it off, every country is sooo fed up with america for accusing people of cheating and complaining when you dont win. You're ruinging the olympics for eveyone. And no you dont really have good relations with all the other countries. You bash other countries and are ride all the time, maybe you dont so thats why your not aware of this, but americans are the most arroagnt people in the owlrd, they think they are better than everyone else. A lot of people would say that Canada is the best place to live, They are kind and friendly with all other countries and are also extrememly respected over in Europe, if you are in europe with a candian flag anywhere on you, you will get noticed, when i was in europe once, i had a candian flag on, and i got stopped 3 times, by people with positive things to say just becase i was Canadian.

Sorry to be mean but its the truth, and THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ALL AMERICANS, some of you are great people, but there are some who ruin it for you all
