Why do other girls always put pretty girls down?

Like if a girl is really pretty and you say it to another girl, she's like "she's ugly" . "fat" , "her hair is fake", etc. It's like she finds an excuse to make the girl seem less beautiful. Do you do this? Why?

Because she's a hater.

Some women are always in competition with each other. Those types are often very insecure and they can be very jealous. They feel the need to put someone else down to make themselves feel better.

Secretly jealous. Sometimes the pretty girl is mean, so they put them down for this also; but blame it on the looks.

Insecurity. I hate it when women do this. If a girl is mean (pretty or ugly) then I will say she is a mean person. I think that I'm insecure but I don't feel the need to put down other attractive women. There was this girl in my school that is very pretty but she is so mean to me. My mother was saying how pretty she is. I said, yeah but she's mean. She's ugly on the inside. The women that do this may think too highly of themselves. That's what I think. I think they have high self esteem.
