Why do other people try to get other people in trouble for no reason????

I was at school today and some one reported me for saying something that I NEVER said. Why do people do that??????

Maybe you said or did something to that person that they held against you and just did that to get you back. People are like that sometimes. I would say to not continue the whole "getting back" thing cause it always leads to more trouble. Trust me. Just fix the situation as best as you can and move on. If it happens again you need to confront this person face to face and talk to them.

But sometimes people just get things wrong.  I know that sometimes I've been looking at replies in Answers and gone to Thumbs Down a moronic answer and either hit the wrong Thumb or even the wrong answer.

Its worse though when I suddenly realise I read the answer wrong, but Its too late to change it.  Then I worry a little that I might upset someone when really I had no intention to do so.

Maybe they genuinely thought you said it?

the best thing to do is NOT to freak out about it.

They have no proof that you said that and if you freak out, then adults take you less seriously. just say your not worried because you didn't do anything wrong.
