  1. I think because a nerve sends off a wrong muscle. Sometimes you get twitching for allergies. I know I do.


  2. neurons in the brain misfiring thereby making the muscles twitch or a nerve in the eye that tells the brain to make  muscles in the eye to move - its not dangerous at all - just annoying.
