I recognize that being a parent is a tough job, and that parents are allowed to have time off to enjoy their lives. However, why don't they leave the under-5-years-of-age children with another family member, or a babysitter, or at daycare, or just stay home with the child?
I went to see "Dark Knight", and there was a child in front of me, I'm guessing about kindergarten age, who was BEGGING to leave, every time The Joker or Two-Face was on the screen. The poor kid was scared out of her mind. The parent kept saying "quit being such a baby". It wasn't just this movie . . . I've seen this happen several times at various theatres.
Seems to me that being a good parent is the top priority, and that your child's welfare is always first. Why do some parents not recognize this?
