Why do parents get so stressy about school?

i have just moved from a rubbish school(bad results) into into one of the best in the country. i was at the top of the class but now im in the middle. this is where ive always wanted to be. you get to do triple science if you are really clever. so everyone is doing triple science except me. i dont mind but my mum and dad are getting really stressed up about it.

  1. I agree - your parents just want the very best for you, and while they don't realize right now what that's doing to your stress levels, when you're a parent, I'm sure you'll push your child(ren) to do more than they take on initially. Maybe give what your parents want a try - you might prosper. Parents do sometimes know what's best. (And even if it doesn't work out, I'm sure you can go back to your original course load without much fuss, as long as you watch your timing)
