Why do pay more tax then anyware else in the world?

food is not taxed unless it is cooked for consumption on the premises, We also have a better health and educational system than most of the world

The simple answer is because many of the top dogs are overpaid, and the government doesn`t know how to stop wasting money, so they just want more and more.  It won`t end.

Have you heard the saying `expenditure rises to meet income`....maybe the tax  rises  to reach the bottomless tax pot.

I also believe the government does not want too many people to get `rich`  .  They think it would make us lazy, and not want to work.

After all, many successful economies are driven by poverty.

ie, `take it off `em, it`ll keep them working`!

fuel- becuase most gas comes from middle east and it isnt so easy for the states to do business with arabs,  the rest taxes is cuz of BUSH

nope holland is a lot worse - gas and electricity transportation - dirt - packaging - co2.. and a lot of other things..

on the other hand, there is a new law which states that if you are training to become a witch you don't have to pay taxes.

so I think I will be seeing a lot of people riding broomsticks in the next few months.

We do have quite high taxes but definitely not the highest on earth.

Our higher rate income tax is 40% whereas Denmark's basic rate is 42% and higher rate is 68% although presumably they probably receive better services.

We have loads of people from abroad who want to come live with us in the uk which is great,we also really love to pay people not to work,as we value ones rights to live life in contemplation of getting a job.we love more than anything our soldiers,who not only help us out,but go all around the world ,so we can dictate the value of democracy-all cost money
