Why do peaches have some fuzz on them?

Peaches have fuzz on the outside to protect the fruit itself.  It does this by helping trap moisture and slowing down the air flow that passes over it.  It also helps the fruit be less attractive to bugs because the hairs that make up the fuzz irritate the soft tissues on the insects that surround the spiricals (holes for air exchange) on the insects.
