Why do people allow their dogs to do their business on other peoples lawns?

and not even have the decency to clean up after them?

Any tips to battle this? I am gone a lot but have a pristine lawn and no animals....But never fails, I find evidence all the time. I am sick of it and want revenge!

Check with your town or city clerk. There may be an ordinance in effect that says people have to pick up after their animal. There is one in my city and every person I see walking a dog has a bag in their hand to clean up after the animal.If you see them not pick up after their dog, you can report them.

I would go crazy,don't you have any laws against this.Most people that have dog's where i live carry plastic bags around with them to pick it up.

Can't you fence your lawn off or put a large sign up,surely its illegal to let your dogs foul on property/pavement etc.

Try a  lawn dog/cat repellant.

Well. like many people said, they are lazy, incosiderate and just don't want p**p  near them.

These are designed to keep strays/ dogs/cats off your front lawn. Just follow the directions, but spray a bit extra where you find the p**p. Dogs return to the same place to poo because there is this big, smelly signal that tells them "Bathroom!". Even if they aren't feeling like it, them might just go to the bathroom where another dog defecated-days ago. f***s leave a smell that lasts for 2 weeks-so dogs will continually try to go on your front lawn.

As for revenge, put up a sign that says "I don't poo in your living room, so don't let your dog poo in my lawn."

My neighbor allows her dogs to run everywhere. They come over and c**p in our yard. I left a nice note in her mailbox 2 ask her to respect her neighbors. If she doesn't get the hint my notes will get a little nasty. We live in the country so if I see them in my yard I shoot my gun up in the air to make them run away. Try talking 2 ur neighbor first and see what happens. Hope this helps.

well if a dog's got to go it's got to go but key is clean up after them!

it may be tacky but maybe they would get a hint decorate your yard with a pole that has little bags and a scooper next to a tiny trash can!  with a sign that says " Please pick up after your pets bag's and scooper are provided"

if you do that and they still don't pick up then collect it and yea put it on there door step or grab a bag and yell down the street after seeing this and run up hey you forgot something and hand them a bag of poo!

a little harsh but there is nothing like coming out of your own home to see poo on the yard when you have no dogs!!!

or if you want to get supper mean go take a human dump on their yard!  set up camreas to see who is doing it!  steal there dog! but these are mean!  and really not worth it!

Well, when I walk my dog, I try to avoid walking by people who are outside sitting on their porch.  It would be awkward to let my dog sh*t while other people watch!

But I'm sure you don't have the time to leisurely sit on your porch like the old retirees I see everyday.  So unfortunately, there is nothing you can do besides get a fence.

If you do see someone leave a poo on your lawn, you should go outside, pick it up, and put it on their lawn with a note that says "You dropped this on my lawn.  Just thought you might need it back."

As for revenge....that is a bad idea.  You are not a child anymore, and if you ever got caught doing a harmless but mean prank you will be charged as an adult.

People are lazy and couch potatoes. They don't wanna touch p**p, who does!? Next time they do it u should walk up to them and tell them they should clean up their messes or they aren't responsible to own a dog! That will put them straight!
