  4. Because they are jackasses. Rhetorical questions aren't ment to be answered but some asses at my school think it's funny to answer them while i'm doing a speech.

  5. For these reasons:



    A. Because they are dumb.

    B. Because don't understand sarcasm.

    C. To annoy the person asking the question.

They don't - thank goodness!  I teach 9th grade, and when I say, "I can't believe you thought I wouldn't catch the fact that you openly cheated.  Do I LOOK stupid?"  I don't think I've ever had a kid speak up and say, "Ya know, you usually do, but today, not so much!"  (although I'm sure they'd like to say it)
