Why do people always do this ?

ok now i'm not trying to start a fight but i just want to know why people do this .. DONT GET ME WRONG PLZ !!

OK well this is my question why do people look back in time on what OTHER people have been tho to make it like they've been tho it .. like

~black people they look back when blacks where slave's and say something like white done us wrong and white get whatever they want WHICH WE DONT !!

~white people why do u look back when white were slave's back when jesus was walking the earth ..and white people complan so much about where we come from and a lot more

and to all the other colorers in the world why do u look back in the past to live ur life now in the furture ...

AND AGAIN NOT TRYING TO START A FIGHT JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT EVERYONE THINKS ABOUT IT AND WHY WE ALL DO THIS !!

Because the old problems aren't over. No, we don't have slavery anymore, but everyone didn't suddenly change their minds about black people when the slaves were freed. There are still TONS of very racist people around. I used to make restaurant reservations for people and I called a Ritz Carlton in Arizona, and I swear to god when I tried to book a lunch, they said to me "Are they white?" because they only seat white people at tea time. This was 3 years ago!!

You have to remember the past so that the same mistakes are never made again. It's about vigilance.

I'm always going to look to the past with women's rights.

I don't know anyone who acts like slavery happened to them, or who blames white people for everything. But I do know people who face discrimination because some of the old ideas are still around. There are a ton of old people who still think there's no problem with calling black people the n word.

It's still a problem, so people still talk about it.

People look to the past to learn so they won't make th same mistakes in the present. Some things from the past are worth holding on to and some things needs to go.

im not sure...I hate pointing the finger...I take responsibility for my own actions.  i dont have children because im not married and I dont wanna be taking a m**o to court for child support because I couldnt keep my legs closed.  I dont wanna be a low life like my mother so I am paying for school myself even if its taking hundreds of years...just because i was born in the ghetto dont mean i have to stay there...i went and got a apt and got a room mate so i can be in the better part of the city.  I never point the finger...i just make things right.  I have a brain so i use it.  the time people put in placing the blame they can put into bettering themselves.

I think the main purpose for it is to blame.

I mean, a lot of people look back in the past and point fingers to someone else, saying that they were the reason for their fall back then and even now.
