Why do people always make jokes about Chuck Norris?

I am SOOO over those jokes.  Anyone that plays World of Warcraft knows how to shut down the "trade channel" because of Chuck Norris.

He's a has-been that does infomercials and backs horribly unqualified (ahem, Mike Huckabee) candidates for presidency, as if since he endorses them, it should really sway us in who we vote for.

Because when people try to get serious, Chuck Norris roundhouse kicks them into jokers.  

To be serious, that's a good question.  I've always wondered that too...until I got roundhoused by Mr. Norris.  By the way.....duck...nevermind, there's no escaping his roundhouse.

he was a famous actor. and it just became part of radio culture to make jokes about it. I live in canada and i hear him all the time especially on rock and metal stations :].
