Why do people always talk like they always know what they are doing?

well, people are always talking to me when they have no idea what thye are talking about and thye say that they now everything.... it's so stupid

some people do it to be accepted .

when your talking to somebody or in a crowd you don't wanna be left out you wanna be like everybody else or so they say "the in-crowd".

Some talk just keep a conversation going.  Some talk to show what they know whether they know it or not. Some feel the need to share their opinion, regardless of the facts, with everyone and anyone.  Lots of people, lots of reasons.

Some people have this mystical confidence. I think it's a personality trait from not being told they're wrong enough as children and adults. Some parents pretend their kids are right about everything and they take that everywhere they go. And it is very annoying, especially when you are a manager and they are new, trying to tell you how to do your job, which they know nothing about.

They want to make an impression on you. They may feel insecure and to hide it they sound like they really know everything. I say honesty is the best policy.

some people have huge egos and feel very justified in their opinions.  ignore them.

they don't want to feel like they are insecure or not educated enough on a certain topic or situation, when you have been ill or sick it seems like alot of people have phds. i know what your saying it happens all the time. listen to politians ! perfect examples !
