... tend to win the lottery more than us younger folk?

Shouldn't they institute a rule that says you must be 55 or younger to win?

Elderly folk won't have as much llife left to enjoy the winnings 75% (this figure is an estimate) of the time!

  1. How have you arrived at the conclusion that the "geriatric population" wins more often?  Do you have data to back this up?

Assuming it is true that they win more, the reason is simple: they play more.  If you instituted a 55 or younger rule, then jackpots would be smaller.

  2. No.

  3. because they play the lotto more

  4. It may seem plausable to make a law that woudl protect large sums of money like that from being wasted, however when you really sit and thing about it, the money will not dissapear when the person dies, they will either somehow spend it all on objects that will remain in exhistance after they dies, or it will be passed to their next of kin, so also will any objects they bought, built or created with the money.
