Question:

Why do people ask a question, and then put "10 points for best answer"?

I think it is rather strange that you would ask a question, and then act like you are giving the best answer something "EXTRA" somehow. We all know that here are 10 points awarded for the best answer already. What makes a person say something so silly?

  1. i dont get it eathier maybe cause some people dont pick a best answer they let it just be picked by votes

  2. I have an inside contact, and when I call them, they give me 30 points for every best answer that I get. Hope that helps!!

  3. Who does it matter, it's all relative

  4. Have you tried asking a question instead of answering?

  5. Yah know, I think its strange too...only conclusion I made to that silly little ending to a post is this:  So many people on YA put these rude nasty smart remarks, perhaps the "10 pts for best answer" is trying to remind people they will be awarded those points for putting forth the effort to answer kindly and realistically.  Not really sure why else they would put that.  There are alot of people hanging around that are a sandwhich shy of a picnic...Too bad we don't get 10 pts for that...LOL...
