Why do people ask questions about politics or religion then remove undesirable answers?

If you ask someones opinion on a topic why then report answers that you do not like or go against what you believe?

Seems they aren't actually interested in discourse, but rather in making their own point. (So the question isn't really a question, but just an introduction to their own thoughts.)

However, some people may have responded with disrespectful or even violent language.

i totally agree with you, last night somebody asked why are black people so d**n sensitive and i gave my opinion why, but then other people started commenting on my comment. idk you cant win for losing

Because they simply want to state a point and dont really have a question.  Its annoying
