I know this question has been asked before, but I figured maybe someone who hasn't seen it will realize how lazy they are being.

  1. i have no idea i always see questions that are so simple . i feel like their to lazy to find the answer themselves. seriously its not that hard to search on google

  2. Two heads are better than one, so if you have a bunch of people with relatively the same answer it can be better than searching the internet.

Also you have that chance someone is fluent in knowledge about whatever it is you're talking about and can give you better references or sources than what you may find on the internet.

  3. The avatars

  4. Perhaps to get a different perspective that they didn't think about. I'm usually in the social sciences category, so these are open to interpretation and advice.

As for the obvious stuff, maybe they aren't apt on the search engine stuff. Nothing wrong with asking for a little guidance sometimes - you know?

  5. Like me, people love to get answers. When I see my profile and go to my questions and right beside it it says I question.

I'm curious of what they have to say. It feels a lot better than going up on the internet and asking. Even if it is slower or not.

  6. To get different perspectives...

    Some r just too lazy!

  7. I like the fact that I get the answer I want from the actual person in short amount of time.

  8. google your question... yeah, hypocritical

  9. because usually they get immediate answers from people who are good at researching quickly or who have a professional knowledge of, or personal experience with the situation they want to know about......(and sometimes they want other people to do their homework.......that's annoying).

  10. look it up

im too lazy to do it for you, like these other fools

  11. Why didn't you google this question?  It has already been asked a dozen times here on Y!A.   Seriously.

  12. I think it's because their questions are more simply answered than researching and finding it through the internet.

  13. Some questions, yes. But not all.

I think they just do not have basic research skills using the internet. For example, they do not know how to effectively use Google and other search sites.

Or they may just want to clarify answers from real people since the internet is full of faulty information. For example, a question about travel time in land between New York City and Washington D.C. Many internet sites will give different ranges, so, I think it is best to clarify from real people who commute.

  14. This is the internet

Google can be a pain to use

    Wiki is sometimes inconclusive

  15. the internet is a great thing but researching is a pain in the butt. You either get 2 million answers to sift thru or no answers and at.. I tried researching a medication and I kept getting links..everytime I would click on 1 link I would get a page with 10,000 more links.. I finally gave up..

  16. Because they like it. They have something to spend their time to.
