Why do people ask such longlong long questions?

okay, example: "i don't know if i should break up with my boyfriend or not."

seriously, if that's all you put, no one's going to know why you feel that way, therefore you won't get a logical answer unless the person knows you and your boyfriend.

again, that was an example.

Alot of them probably feel that they'll get the most accurate answers by using a lot of details. Its impossible to please people on here. If they ask really short questions everyone says 'more details!! I cant answer that without more details' If they ask long detailed questions, people say 'geez ...you wrote a friggen novel'. If the long ones bother you dont answer them..there's plenty of short ones out there

I can understand what you are saying.

at first I thought I would give you a really long pointless answer until the end, but I thought, nah, I'll be nice.

Anyways, take a moment to look at the question... if it seems to be more than what you want, then skip to the next question.
