Why do people ask u so are are u building your house from the ground up. Of course if I try to build it from?

    Not Flipping.


  2. They're just basically saying "so you're doing everything yourself?". In most cases, people hire someone to do portions of the building for them instead of doing it all themselves. I don't think they intend to sound stupid. It's just a saying people use.

  4. It's the same as asking, is your house stick built?

    When people ask you, are you building from the ground up, they're asking you if your house a prefab.

    Prefab is made  pre made at the factory and delivered to the property and asembled there which takes lots less time than buidling from the ground up or stick built.

    Building ground up or stick built is built right at the sight and not pre built at the factory.

    Little hard to explain, but that's it.
