Why do people ask you questons that they don't wont you to anwser?

I get that all the time. People ask me something then...

*Get mad at me (and block) just because I answered.

are they...

*Ask me something then sign offline without giving me time to answer.

For Example..

A lady I was talking to asked me. What do you do for work?

I typed in that I am a working on becoming a Spec./Freelance Movie Script writer and when I sent it.

I got the messages saying that my messages could NOT be delivered because she had blocked me.

What is the point of ask a question that you do not wont answered?

I thought you meant why do they ask, then hate you for answering.  And clearly, it's cuz they want to hear what they want to hear to confirm their stupid secret thoughts.  If I was talking to you and it cut off....it would probably be my crappy computer, my kids taunting me, lightening, or armageddon.  People are afraid of getting too familiar and it scares them.  It was probably a old person just sending her first inst. mess. to a stranger and she panicked.  I just take it as, you aren't looking for a life long friend here, just asking a question.  Anyway, I find it interesting that you write movie scripts.  I love movies and I can't see how people keep coming up with new ideas for them.  Never heard of Skype.   Bye Now!

I think that they ask only as a method of starting a conversation so they can tell you what their opinion is.

It is super annoying!!!

It is kinda like advice, people always want it, but never like what they are told.

I think it is stupid that people who ask you a question block you before you get a chance to answer...that is just stupid.
