Why do people assume they're a part of the organization?

People always say we need to get Josh Smith. Or we blew the game in the last minute. I don't get why people assume they had anything to do with it. Why do people say we?

Cause they can. Everybody has a right to be creative a and imagine it's perfectly natural. Also it's fun.
