Why do people believe that Humans are the cause of global warming?

The fact is, that our planet has gone through warming periods and freezing periods for millions of years. I understand that we make pollution, but come on, we are not raising the temperature of the earth. It is a normal cleansing that our planet has done. There is no substantial evidence to prove it other wise. And lets face it, Al Gore not only thinks he created the internet but now he thinks he is a scientist. What a jerk.

i KNOW! I personally think that HUMANS AREN'T THE ONES CAUSING GLOBAL WARMING!

Tell me, someone here who thinks that we are doing global warming, tell me how this works. A factory is burning and it goes up to the sky. Its only in that location. Lets say country 23. Then, look at antartica. How come there are ice breaking off when there is no factories there? How odd. Tell me how that works.

Plus, who knows! maybe the ice in antrartica is breaking off because its old? why should we believe scientists? do you guys remember when people in the past believed that the earth was flat, and if you sailed, off, near the horizon, you would fall off the earth? Seriously, then Columbus said that the world was round?

We should be able to see for ourselves? Who knows, maybe the people with the video are just editing it (you know how we can do things like that in the movies) and who do funds when there's proberly nothing happening?

Because people like to be part of something bigger then themselves. In reality the Global warming theorists are doing more damage to the world then they are helping. They are taking food sources and trying to make them fuel sources. Which is lessening the supply of food, which in turn is costing money. Which third world countries can't afford. They are also fighting against hybrid's that could feed these people or grow in the desolate places they are from.

To above: Do some research and find out the truth. that scientist in vast numbers have come out and said that global warming/climate change/climate shift or whatever new name they have come up with this week, have stated that these global disasters that will send the Earth into peril will not happen.

Oh and by the way in the 1970's by the year 2000 the world was suppose top be over populated and in a world famine because we couldn't raise enough food. In the early 1900's a similar catastrophic event was suppose to happen.

I honestly don't know dude.

         It is well known that nature itself has a major affect against itself.  Volcanoes mountains spew fourth more toxic fumes in a month than we "The whole planet"  could in an intire year. We can only slow it down a tiny bit...but its going to come sooner or later..

They are making so MUCH MONEY off of this scam.  Even oil companies are expected to quadruple their profits and are therefore jumping on the bandwagon.  The IPCC reports, if you look at the recent summary on page 4, professes that they will be more in synch with the policy makers, which means less science and more rhetoric to support politics.  

In the meantime, the UN is trying to silence real scientists.

Well, did they not believe the U.N. when they released a statement that Sudan was killing millions of people because of an internal matter? It is a war of religion and nothing but! What does it mean when one says to you, become a Muslim, or die? Why do soldiers think they can rape and torture women, except that they are Muslim and that is their treat? Did the U.N. not deny this with their statements? Sure, and just as sure, they said nothing about the real cause of global warming... it is a natural occurrence! Since 1900 the active volcanoes have increased and we now have 3x as many! We have much more plate movement than before and we will be having many more tsunami-es... They are in our future.. We do not need to worry about giant meteors from space.. just as we did not for thousands of years! We can do nothing about those plate movement or volcanoes! So, we can plant trees and pick up the junk we have made.. this is a good idea, to recycle, but that is all we can do! Earl
