Global Warming isn't a scam.

What is a scam is how companies take advantage of the growing environmental crisis and start selling "green" things that really don't do anything to the environment, or hurt it more than the normal product was.

Like those hybrids that they say are all "green" but in reality get a bad MPG anyway.

Global Warming is happening, but just the scams are like the green products.

So when you shop next time, look at the ingredients and chemical names, instead of the supposedly "green" claims.

That's what a smart green shopper is. :D

BECAUSE ALL THE GLACIERS ARE MELTING WORLDWIDE AND THE FRESH WATER LAYS ON TOP OF THE SALTWATER FOR A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME. FRESH WATER IS EVAPORATING IN HUGE QUANITIES AND THIS IS WHY WE'RE HAVING EXTENSIVE RAIN STORMS, THAT CAUSE DEATH, MUD SLIDES AND SINK HOLES. IF YOUR NOT EXPERIENCING THESE STORMS THAN YOUR NOT ON EARTH. GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL AND ATTITUDES CHANGE WITH THE CLIMATE.

Without the adjective anthropogenic or man-made in front of it, global warming is meaningless.  That is a scam as well.  I think the exaggeration of the potential consequences is the real scam.

lol...no its not a scam. global warming is the natural cycle of the heating, then cooling of the earth. It happens on a natural scale. the problem we humans hav is that our industrialization has caused too much of a greenhouse gas called carbon dioxide (yes the stuff we breath out) to build up in our atmosphere. greenhouse gasses sort of act as a barrier to outgoing beams of heat. Greenhouse gases r normal, otherwise we would hav a freezing temperature, but too much of it would cause the planet to heat up badly. The greenhouse gas layer is building up due to us, and the problem we hav with it is that too much overheating could wipe out humans of the face of the earth.

People believe because there is truth to the science, but the problem is that nobody knows how much of an effect we have or what natural mechanisms exist on earth to handle it.  You can give me all the computer models you want, but don't tell me that we know everything about this world, I'll call you a liar and I'd be right.

The real problem is that Al Gore declared that this subject has been solved and that anybody who questions it are "Skeptics" who need to be run out of town with torches and pitch forks.  The truth is that we don't know everything and we haven't seen any real evidence that we are in a run away greenhouse effect.  

The science makes sense, but the sense of panic created by Al Gore and others in the media is very harmful.  Us "skeptics" are asking some very good questions and the "Kool-Aid drinkers" are using scare tactics and are not willing to debate anything.  

Things I believe...  CO2 levels have been higher in history and the temp has "naturally" been much higher and colder than it is now.  The cycles of the sun have an effect on the earth.  

When I ask about this, Kool-aid drinkers dismiss me and tell me that there is a global consensus and that I'm crazy.  They seem to forget about the large numbers of scientist who disagree with it (follow links below).

We need to slow down and really research this.  There is way too much money in this for honesty to be preserved.  You need to remove all the doubts before you start charging me money.  (i.e. carbon credits, greenhouse taxes).  

Until you do, KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF MY MONEY.
