Question:

Why do people block for no reason?

Personally, I thought the the blocking option was there to block out abusive or rude posters, but it appears that some use it because they can't take the truth.

Why ask questions if you can't accept honest answers?

...perhaps it's a 'personality quirk.'

  1. I agree, don't let it bother you though, it's them with the insecurities.

  2. Maybe they just don't appreciate rudeness. There is no need for rudeness or being obnoxious in giving an opinion.

  3. Sometimes its because you know someone they don't like.

  4. Perhaps, you're right.

  5. I agree with blocking for abuse but for those who block just because of a differing opinion should really stop asking because we are all different and will never agree on everything... it says more about them..

  6. because sometimes, the answers are just cruel and not what the person asked for.

It does annoy me though, when people ask a question to get a certain response, and therefore pick the only person who has responded that way. I see it on R and S board all the time. It winds me up no end.

If someone's blocking though when its not been a nasty answer like someone's asked if someone fancies them and you write no. Thats dumb and irritating.

  7. That is just the nature of the site, try to ignore it, it happens all the time.

  8. Sounds like you've been Elsie'd. It's the internet, don't let it worry you. There are plenty of people who haven't blocked you.

  9. there is always a reason

  10. Like someone else said, there is always a reason. Just because you dont agree with their reason doesnt mean it's wrong
