Why do people block me off so I can't get out of my driveway!?!?

Hi I live in a block of units and e all have our own parking spots....to get out of mine, i have to do a semi circle to turn around sort of thing....so i drive past my neighbours driveway (in the same block of units) and they always have visitors who park behind them, which blocks me from getting out so I have to knock on their door and say can you ask your visitor to please move his/her car. My problem/question is, is that I should not have to ask my neighbours to get their visitors to move their cars, they should not be blocking me in the first place and as there isn't room for visitors cars why don't they park on the side street so it doesn't block anyone off? When I have visitors I ask them to park on the side street so they don't block my neighbours.....

so remind the people that you rent from that your having the problem with people parking where they shouldnt remind your neighbors where their friend should park and next time they park behind ya back up and put a dent in one and say sorry i didnt see it there .... id just back up and move it with my bumper sure they wont like it .... could try the horn just hold it down til someone comes

Yeah this is something that the management can enforce so you should let them know because that must be really aggravating!

Just ask them to move and be polite about it and if that does not work call your local police department and report them......

I'ld talk to the neighbor then property manager then I'ld start having the cars towed at the owners expence.

you need to talk to the neighbors first, if that doesn't work go to the property mgmt. or call the police. they are inconsiderant jerks.

You should talk to your neighbor and stress the fact if they don't do something about this problem, you will and this will involve the authority's/property management/ whoever.

Happens to me all the time, too. People are ignorant and often stupid. They don't care about anyone else, their convenience is the be all and end all. I have a problem with a woman actually parking her car right in front of my driveway because she was mad at me for asking her to move it before (when it was blocking half of my driveway), so I just had it towed at her expense.

But really though, obviously your neighbours are ignorant and you should tell them that.
