Why do people call Obama an elitist when McCain's wife wears outfits worth over $300,000?

If you read the article properly, her dress cost $3,000 but they included her 180,000 diamond jewelery, shoes, purse and other accessories to come up with the far fetched baloney hyped up figure. HER DRESS COST $3,000 and it was a famous brand name dres - consdiering beyonce pays more than that on a pair of shoes or a purse, what are you complaining about?
