Why do people care about Carbon emissions now, but not 5 years ago?

Doesnt make sense. Its like people have just clicked on that its a hazard to the enviroment.

  2. Because there wasn't much catastrophic weather condition like what we have now.

    Don't you think your daily weather forecast is not as accurate as before? Do you realize the snow is falling later every year? Do you expect rain falls on unexpected days?

  3. like everything, it takes a while for people to realize and accept the gravity of the situation. i guess it took 5 years for this one to settle

    also, right now, there are people who were once too young to do anything about it before.

    plus, media is playing a big big role.
