Why do people care or want to stop me when i say i want to die.

i really don't get it people always say oh its going to get better blah blah blah... why do they care its just some1 you don't know that's going to die. what is so wrong with people wanting to die. is it so wrong to want to die i just never asked to live i don't like to live but i don't like to make people i love sad so that's why im still alive. never really cared about life since i was little anyways... things live and die every day animals bugs people. but why is it so wrong to die i killed animals before nothing happened they just got cold and hard they didn't seem to hate me either

Its human nature to feel compassion and love for other human beings. It doesnt matter that I dont know you, but I do know that even if you would be happier dead, there are at least 20 people that you know in your life who would be devistated if they lost you. So I not only feel compassion for a person who is suicidal, but also for their family and friends. Because it sucks to lose someone you love. especially when you find out that they killed themselves.

BECAUSE IF YOU COMMIT SUCIDIE,  YOU WILL NOT ACTUALLY DIE,  BUT WILL GO TO h**l AND BURN FOREVER AND EVER.  THAT WOULD BE A SAD THING THINKING YOU HAVE SKIPPED OUT ON THIS LIFE, BUT WAKE UP IN h**l TORMENTED FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.  LIFE MAYBE BAD FOR YOU, BUT JUST REMEMBER THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE WORSE OFF THAN YOU.  I DON'T KNOW YOUR SITUATION, PERHAPS IF YOU WOULD HAVE SHARED MORE INFO.

Because you were able to kill your cats, I think there is more going on then only feeling like dieing.  You probably don't want to hear that therapy and medication can help you work out some of the problems you are having.  You seem to exhibit symptoms that suggest you are having quite a struggle.  I hope you will take care of yourself and get some help.  Your life does not have to have no meaning.  I hope you find what makes you tick.  Good Luck.

What do you expect? For them to tell you to go ahead and kill yourself, nobody is going to do that, at least no one with any kind of conscious.  Its true that everyone will die someday, but that just means that you should enjoy the best that you can.  By the way you didn't love those animals that you killed, so it didn't mean as much to you, but it would be different if it was an actual person.  And don't kill animals because chances are that they don't want to die and you should not kill just to find out what it feels like.  When I was younger, I was suicidal, but I did get better, but something like this doesn't just go away and it can't be ignored.  The best thing to do is to see a therapist and get help and then maybe you won't have the feeling that you wish you were dead.  Things can get better, just not by themselves, your life won't magically turn around and become wonderful.  Why do people care or want to stop you when you say you want to die?  Well, personally I would try to stop you because I understand that feeling and whether you believe it or not things do get better.  And if I didn't try to stop you, I would feel guilty for the rest of my life, so I'm not going to encourage it.  In most cases if you know and love someone or something, you should feel remorse, which to me says that there is more going on with you, then people know, really all you can do at this point is get therapy and discuss these feeling and maybe there is some treatment out there that could help you.

Most ppl don't really care, they just are buying into the concept of life, liberty and the prusuit of happiness.  Life being the most important and valued of the 3.  I prefer choice, liberty and pursuit of wealth.

I don't want other people to die, it doesn't matter if I know them or not. I've been suicidal a great deal of the last year so I understand where you're coming from, sometimes I feel that way. Honestly they are trying to be comforting. Some people do it good. The only difference I can say is we aren't planning on eating you...well i'm not anyways. As silly as this is take it from someone in a similar situation. Try to hang on as long as you can. What happens, happens but just do your best so you can truly be happy with yourself in the end.

I think that people, when they hear you say you want to die, can empathize with you and want to comfort you. All people question their existence- why do I matter, what does life matter... it's a part of the common human experience.  So when people hear another person in distress, it's human nature to want to comfort them.  Also, I think you should stop killing animals.  It can lead to killing people and a life of psychotic behavior.

I know and understand what you are saying. But the people who tell you not to really do love you even if they say or do the opposite. I know life is hard and that sometimes the best way out is death. But it isn't at the end of the day. At the end , if you ever did try you would realize that you screwed up big time trust. Maybe you need to find a different doctor or different meds. Or just a change of scenery even. But please don't give up, the fight is worth the victory trust.
