Why do people care?

Question

so much about what other people think about them? I seriously don't care, I just care about what i think about myself. It just makes me so mad when people complain about people, and then those people get all upset, and then it turns into a never ending cycle. It also makes me mad when people complain about things, and don't do anything about it. And also how people care so much about little things, like a question awhile ago where a 22 year old was outraged that 7 and 10 year old kids were on the internet. And then someone assumed that the 7 year old was illiterate. Who really cares about what others think of them? I'm asking you. And why do people complain, and then do nothing? Are they just lazy? And who really thinks that 7 year olds are illiterate? I want your personal answers on this one.

i have no clue...i mean people should just live their life up to their own expectations...so yeah i dont really kno why ppl care so much about wat other ppl think =[

It's called peer pressure.  Some people are more susceptible to it than others.  Weaker people with less confidence are usually more prone to succumb to peer pressure.

And then some of the idiocy on here is due to boredom.  A lot of people come on here when they are bored (myself included) and some of them enjoy bein an annoyance.

And people complain and do nothing cuz talk is cheap and actually having to do something about it would be work...and like you say, they are lazy.  Same with why they answer easy inane questions instead of meaty ones....lazy.  Seems you got a few to answer this one tho.

IM NOT TOO SURE AT THIS POINT,I ASKED IF ANY ONE CAN GIVE MY ADVICE ON BEING PREGNANT AT 15,BUT SOME MORONS ASK MEANING LESS THINGS LIKE DO YOU LIKE MY NAME OR STUFF AND THATS STUPID!ASK SOMETHING THAT WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE.IM TOTALY ON YOUR SIDE WITH THIS ONE!GOOD QUESTION THOUGH!

Here's the problem with your question - by asking it you're being a complete hypocrite.

You're caring about how people look at the other people on Y!A and the Internet and in their personal relations and you're also complaining about it.

And as far as why the simple questions get lots of answers and your question is getting so few... This isn't really a question - its a rant.

lifes not fair. A lot of non working rich people that have everything money can buy.... Poor them... Cuz really they have nothing, they don't REALLY work for what they have. The greatest of gifts r the ones unbought. People who really care don't care at all about what others think.

uh i dont care thaaat much of what people think of me, but i still take care of myself so they dont think BAD about me. teenagers mite care for attention of friends and guys but i have no idea why older people wud care, maybe competition?? o-o lol well im 13 i think 7 year olds can be on the internet but not making myspaces and stuff? but as more stuff comes the younger people who you it are. yeah that didnt make sense but idk how to put it. uhm i complain about stuff and dont do anything about it either because i dont know what exactly to do about it or its not that big of a deal. and people dont answer complex questions because they either read the question and think the asker is just stupid and the question is not worth answering orr they're too stupid and have no answer.
