Why do people care so much if people cut their wrists?

People found out and they are now giving so much UNNEEDED attention

Some people took it as "COOL! LET ME TRY GIVE ME YOUR RAZORS" and "I WANT TO SEE YOU CUT YOUR WRISTS"

Some took it as "EWW! YOUR EMO!"

And my bf took it as "If you keep on cutting I am going to break up with you"

Why do people make such a big deal out of it

Its very depressing.

i know exactly how that feels. ok im 12 and cut my wrist but that doesnt give people a right to treat me differently!!!
