That is easy to answer - because people are tw*ts. It really is that simple. They always have been - right through history, and they always will be. On an individual level, the majority of people are stupid, inept morons, and on mass, people are REALLY stupid, inept morons.

Celebrate when you find someone who isn't a tw*t - becuase that is a rare find.
