Why do people cheat at bowling?

This is not fair. How the h**l did this dude score a 262 game? 5 consecutive strikes (called a five-bagger) just seems almost impossible. The highest score I can get is 146. I've practiced so much and I still "suck." That dude must be using some kind of special ball because his score is too high. He gets too many strikes in a row. It just doesn't seem right. I can't even do that. My scores for last night were 89, 113, 94, 75, and 102. ALWAYS the low scores. I can't ever get a good score. My parents insist that I don't suck. They want me to join my co-workers tonight but I told my parents I don't want to go tonight until something is done about Mr. 262. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but what else can I do about "sucking"?

  1. Yes, you do suck at bowling. Really, really bad. Anyone who rolls a 75 besides Helen Keller is pretty much hopeless. You may want to try a different sport, because your parents are just being nice to you.

  2. Maybe he's just, you know, good. And practices. It seems like you're just jealous. You can't be good at everything. Maybe you should just try to enjoy playing instead of concentrating on everybody else. Just because someone is better than you at something doesn't mean he has to stop playing.

  3. lmao

    this is funny.

  4. Practice!

  5. For the same reason people cheat at anything - to make themselves look better.

  6. I think your problem, basically, is that you forgot to take your medication this morning.

Well, "after all, tomorrow is another day".

  7. i suck too.  i think the highest i got was in the 70's points...

  8. i think the special ball you're reffering to is called an agressive ball. a ball that breaks of it's path at a certain point and into the pocket. it's not illegal all pro bowlers use this kind of ball. further more, he's either super gifted, a real experienced bowler, does nothing but bowl, recieve private lessons, or all of the above. just keep on trying, see if you can arrange some lessons, there are prob some mechanical issues that you aren't able to fix on your own. believe it nor not, bowling is a game that requires a lot of conentration, balance and timing. As long as you can get all those down it doesn't matter what kind of ball you use
