Why do people describe Geminis as 'split personality Geminis'?

It is kind of insulting to us precious Gems. There is no such thing as a split personality afterall. I know Gemini is changeable and adapts to being someone else. but doesn't everybody when you think about it.

Your birthday does not effect your personality.

I know 3 people with the same birthday, and another three with the same birthday,later in the year. They are nothing like one another.

If you LOOK for certain characteristics in a person, you will find them, while ignoring other traits.

I knew plenty of two-faced people that had birthdays all over the calendar.

The whole horoscope thing is more of a way for people to make excuses for their shortcomings. They can blame things on their "sign".

I've never had anyone guess my sign, no matter how much of a horoscope-profiler they said they were.

Want more proof? Go to the maternity ward , and ask them what month babies are more likely to cry.

Remember the look on their faces, when they say "What?"

youve got a good point. every sign is a little bit emotional, a little bit sensitive, etc, we all share the same traists, its just some signs display them more than others. u dont have to see it as an insult, think of it as having 'depth of character' :)

don't take it as an insult.  nothing wrong with being diverse and mutable.  

it doesn't mean you have 'multiple personalities' as described in psychology.  

and no, not everyone behaves differently depending on who they're around.

sorry no offence met, but they are split personalities and two faced.

i just started to see a gem guy recently, and since i *** from a culture of arranged marriages, he has already made a commitment. yet he never calls me or meets me becoz he is " busy" although he has told me that i am the one for him. yet he has time to hang round other women. talk about two faced.

as for split personality, i never know which twin im with. out of the 7 times we have met.5 times was the talkataive, happy, and entertaining twin.

the other 2 times was teh quiet sensitive one. so im never reallly sure what mood i have to deal with each time.

well obviously its the sign of the twins. my hubby is a gemini and is very good at it. he knows hes like that as well but he doesnt find it insulting (but maybe he will tomorrow...who knows?)

Because you make decisions with one personality and others with the other personality and well that sucks. It sucks even more when both personalities think they are smarter, better and overall superior to everyone while making an *** out of themselves. I Thank the lord I'm not a "precious gem"

Its not really an insult, well most of the Gemini's are even aware of it themselves, they change moods along with their personality.

Its also discovered that most people who have DID are gems.

just like how Saggs are a bit scatter brained (lol not insulting any sign)

and its not a bad thing, use it to your advantage
