Why do people drink Bud light instead or regular budweiser?

Is the alcohol content the same just less calories? Cause I see the big beer companies offering more bud lite then just regular what is the difference just the calories?

Bud Light tastes worse, has a bit less alcohol, has fewer calories and (this is the important part) is much less filling than Budweiser. Bud Light and light beer in general is for drinking games because you can drink so much more of it. I wouldn't drink a Anheuser-Busch offering for any other reason.

my friend's parents drink beer and her mom drinks budlight but out of the other people who drink in her extended family, they all like budlight. I think it is less fattening. You know how diet drinks taste different than regular??? maybe that's the case. maybe budlight tastes better than reg. beer. idk???

I pour beer as a part-time gig and it's all about advertising. They say, "I'll have a bud light." It sounds just like the commercial. Other beers they say, "I'd like a..."

1/3 less calories, made with less ingredients means less alcohol. It's really a terrible beer, but great advertising.

Bud light makes you wanna drink more.A couple of Budweisers and I start buzzing fast.

Not too sure. I prefer Budweiser instead of Bud Light but some people may like it because it has less calories and is not as filling.
