Why do people drive Duallies without using them?

I can see having them if you're going to work in construction or maybe ranching. You have to use the truck to service air conditioning or work on a Road Crew pulling a trailer. The ones I am talking about are : The truck is being used in the city where there is no livestock or agriculture miles within the city limits, The truck bed is perfectly clean without one scratch or a speck of dirt. The truck has a diesel engine but it is driven by yuppies who have them for lmage.

Image is as good a reason as any. They may have a travel trailer or a boat that they pull on weekends.

I have a Diesel Pickup that I rarely even drive anymore but I keep it for pulling the boat or any of my other 5 trailers.

you don't know what he is hauling when you don't see him and dullies aren't cheap so i would keep my super clean too

1. For the same reason accountants ride Harleys.

2. Because the Yuppie in question knows d**n well

that he/she is a miserable driver and knows the added

mass is a protection in the inevitable accident.

(Put your worst drivers in the heaviest, hardest to handle,

most dangerous, (to others), vehicles possible.

Thats what I want to know! I live on a large horse farm and dont have a dually.I want one soooo bad that i would sell everything i own to have one.I am jealous of the people who have one.

The driver is "compensating".  The size of a man's vehicle is inversely proportional to the size of his manhood.  Most guys are averge, so they drive average cars.  Some guys are tiny, so they drive hummers and duallies.

I drive a Smart car! Hahaha.
