  1. hondas suck all j*p made cars suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  2. Some of them are timid, fearful drivers.

I know some people who drive them because they know they suck at driving, have had accidents that were their fault in some cases.    Pretty sobering thought for those of use who drive small cars - hopefully manueverable enough to get out of the way of those jaw-level bumpers on some of those monstrosities.

And yes, as for off-road driving, it's ridiculous that people buy a big SUV, then put those thin little rubber-band-like tires - "for good handling", then they slow down to a crawl to go over a 3" speed bump.    ARRRRRGHHH!!!!!

  3. I happen to like my SUV. It's a Jeep Liberty, has plenty of room, and is capable both on the farm and off-road. It was rear-ended by a much larger vehicle once, and the other vehicle literally bounched off the spare tire on the back. Try that in an Aveo.

I tow a lot, so an SUV comes in handy there too. It's a little hard to tow a livestock trailer through a muddy field in an Odyssey. I have a truck for the really heavy jobs, but when I need to transport 4 or 5 people in comfort and safety over any kind of terrain and in any conditions, I drive my Liberty.

  4. SUV generally tow more than minivans.

Are there many minivans with 4-wheel drive? Many SUVs have 4-wheel drive.

SUVs have higher re-sell values than minivans.

Why do you care what others buy and drive?

  5. I use mine for getting to remote campsites that I couldn't get to with a van.

I can use old mining roads, logging roads, I don't need room for much more than the camping gear, dog, girlfriend and cooler.

I can, as has been proven, be one of the few people that can get to work on the rare days when we get snow.

Compared to the several more efficient all-wheel-drives that I've driven, my Wrangler makes more sense to my lifestyle and needs. I really can't picture taking an Audi A-4 a  Pacifica, or Honda Element up a mining road or logging road to go camping and hiking. For the cost, my Wrangler is perfect.

I don't get to go as often as I'd like, but I get to go without having to rent a car, buy an insurance policy and know without asking that I can get there and home safely. (Or getting stuck.)

I need a second car note like I need a hole in my head.

It's cheaper to pay for the extra gas than it is a rental a few times a year or a second car.

  6. hahahahah i def see youre not from the south round here people drive off road ALL the time we go muddin a lot. on Good Friday everyone takes off work and school and we have a huge mud bog all day and night long.  people drive off road a lot, here are some examples: work, hunting, muddin, fishing, camping, emergency situations, among many others.  If nobody drove off road trucks, suvs and the most important invention ever 4 wheel drive wouldve never been invented.

  7. I don't get the Tahoe people that have bumper stickers saying "KEEP TAHOE BLUE" and they are driving gas guzzling / eco unfriendly vehicles.  So they can 'tow' more c**p to the mountains, how does THAT keep a natural resource natural?  I don't get it?  I drive an economical car from the 90's, gets great mileage :)

  8. i love driving suvs because they are safe, i got in an accident in my suv 2 years ago and im still having back and neck problems, think about how bad it would be if i was in a car or even a van because they are as low as most cars

  9. It's a status symbol.  Just like people buy bigger houses than they need.
