  1. i don't now but it bloody annoys me, its people like that, that are more likely to cause accidents. driving at the wrong speed, even slower is a hazard, i failed my first test for driving 30 through a 40!! also the lorries that try and overtake uphill. they are just as much of a nuisance.

  2. Because they are inconsiderate and don't know the highway code.

  3. Good question.I have seen cars on the motorway late at night

driving down the fast lane at 70mph,i followed him/her for 6

miles before i had to turn off. There were not many other cars around at that time.My best scenario was on the motorway

and i overtook a car to find a small van travelling in the fast lane of the motorway at 60mph,there were no other vehicles

in front of him so we carried on for another couple of miles till

the motorway reduced to 2 lanes. We carried on for a couple of more miles and the traffic was starting to build up behind us,after a while the cars on the inside lane started undertaking and giving the van driver dirty looks and various

rude hand signals.I flashed my lights at him to move over but

he stuck his fingers up to me and stayed put in the outside lane.As we were aproaching a roundabout i moved over into the inside lane and stopped at the lines and opened my window and said we drive on the left side of the road matey.

He sat in his crappy van waving his hands about and swearing.I told him that maybe he should resit his driving test

then i took off. After 1/4 of a mile i looked in my rearview mirror and noticed that he was chasing me and flashing his lights and waving his arms around like a demented gorilla.

I noticed that he was quite a big bloke and a confrontation would probably see me with a bloody nose.I carried on up

the motorway doing 70mph with the demented gorilla behind me then i got bored with him.My car produces its power at

4000rpm in 5th gear so all i had to do was reach 4000rpm

and goodby so i did.End of rant.

  4. laziness and their mind is on something else besides driving.

  5. I only wish I knew,as a pro truck driver I see this every day.

  6. Because it is the smart place to be.

You deal with fewer merges (outer lane is worst) and you have more options to switch lanes in event of an emergency and better visibility of the entire road.  Innermost lane is, or should be, for passing only.  If a three-lane highway is wide open I will always choose the middle lane.

  7. My Pet Hate...Drives me mad!!!

They should get points for dangerous driving and causing congestion

  8. if they're speeding, cos it gives a better trajectory, if they're not speeding, they just cant drive properly

  9. Because they are morons, overtaking nothing but air !!

  10. I'm not sure about your local laws, but here in Michigan most people drive in the middle lane because semi trucks have a lower speed limit than passenger vehicles, and they run in the inner lane. So, instead of merging from one lane to another constantly, it's just easier to maintain a constant speed in the centre lane.

  11. Cause the inner lane is for slower moving traffic, and the middle is the passing lane.

  12. Incompetent drivers

  13. Because they can't drive properly!! Arghhh

  14. Because some mad driver keeps creeping up in the inner lane and overtaking on the left - very dangerous.

Even worse when a driver drives down the middle of the road that is a two lane road, and even worse when it is a one lane road with oncoming traffic.  tsch tsch.  men drivers!

  15. I think to avoid congestion when cars are entering or exiting the motorway.

  16. I only go in the middle lane to pass someone who is dawdling or P*ssing about. I know there are some real bad drivers out there, how they don't cause accidents is beyond me.!!!!
