Why do people drive while talking on their cell phones?

most of the time you see girls driving down the road talking on their cell phones. most of the time its girls and that is how most of the time girls end up in a accident. but why would you do it knowin what will happen?

because I can drive competently, talk on my phone, eat a burger, scratch my ****, and listen to the radio while driving, (all at the same time)

Here in Chicago you can get a ticket if a cop sees you talking and driving at the same time. i personally do it when you need to call someone for something or you get a phone call and pick it up to see what they want. i don't call people just to talk to them while driving. i tend to text more than call while driving though. when texting i pray for a red light :-).

The drivers who use cell phones while on the road are the drivers who were, from the start, less cautious, or more prone to take risks.

This lack of caution is why these people talk on the phone while driving, and it's also the reason why they're more often involved in accidents...............

Because it can be important or they forget because its harder to let it go than answer it. Most people automaticly answer it because the person on the other end may thing they are ingnoring them and not like them!

what else can you do while driving? driving is boring and needs to be spiced up a bit with some conversation.

I personally know 3 girls that have got into wrecks while talking on their phones.

Girls get so d**n caught up in their conversations that they forget whats happening around them.

none of my guy friends have got into wrecks on our phones, but we usually only use our phones to make plans, talk $h!t, etc.

we're not talking for hours on end about how our jeans look or gettiing our nails done
