Why do people drool at night?

Interesting question, because drool can only happen when the humidity is relatively high in your house.  

Think about it....if you sleep with your mouth open on a humid night, and your mouth continues to produce saliva, then you would drool, however if the humidity is low at the time you're drooling, then the liquid evaporates and you awaken with a dry sore throat.

I was told people drool at night because of the teeth alignment if you have teeth with is not straight then the saliva comes out
