  1. What the h**l are you ranting about?  Have you never had a pizza night?

You come off like a hypocritical snob - I hope this is not the case.

  2. veggies are toxic.

  3. I like to eat whatever road kill I can find...

    helps keep the streets clean!!!

  4. First of all, since you are going to "snob it up" in your non-question, you should really learn to use proper grammar.

Now, in answer to your rant, most people today are eating healthier, but some choose to eat what has been their fare for life.  I agree that obesity is a major problem in our country, and even our world, but humans are creatures of habit, and we tend to emulate what our parents have taught us.  Your dinner sounds very nice and tasty, and I believe I would like it, except that I would probably substitute white Jasmine rice for the wild rice.  I like wild rice, but my wife doesn't.

However, if your wish is to educate people to healthier eating habits, be advised that alienation is NOT the way to do it.  There is no such thing as a GROSS food.  You may not like or choose to eat certain foods, but this does not make them gross, or nasty, or any of the other tasteless ways I have heard people refer to foods they don't like.  This referral to "gross things" in your rant makes you seem very childish, and I don't believe that is really the case.  So remember this in the future:  More flies are caught with honey than vinegar.

Lighten up a bit, be glad of your own decision to eat healthy foods, and know that most people are not impressed by your bragging about it on line.

  5. Yeah, you suck, People eat whatever they want.

  6. cause it makes me happy.

  7. I agree

I only eat Venison and Elk - low in fat and cholesterol

  8. Because they don't care about their bodies or health and they would rather indulge in what they want then what they need. It's not our problem.

  9. Are you, like, a vegetarian?

  10. We eat very healthy most of the time. Salads, stir fry, beans & grains, are what I eat most of the time. Fast food and stuff that's very processed is avoided like the plague, for a couple of reasons. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) & Fibromyalgia (FMS) and some other medical problems. I have to stay on the lean side to avoid extra stress on my joints.

I feel awful after a trip to "Fat-Donald's"! We still eat things like fried chicken, hamburgers, and gravy (1 of my favorites), but i usually fix them at home and "health" them up. Organic chick b*****s for fried chicken, super lean hamburger meat on the grill for the burgers, & I make gravy w/ skim milk..

Obesity is a horrible problem. Working in the Medical field I see a lot of it. Reasons: (IMHO) people are so busy, it's much easier to go to a drive-thru instead of planning a healthy menu, going to the grocery store & then preparing the stuff. Television, we sit on the couch w/ a bag of chips, or our dinner & eat mindlessly. Exercise, humans don't get the amount we did 100yrs ago. We don't work for our food: tilling, planting, harvesting, chopping food for the fire, etc. The quality of food: nothing had chemicals or fillers or preservatives.

I am by no means sugesting we go back to the day of horse and buggy, nor am I criticizing others. My Hubby after eating healthy w/ me for a few weeks ordered a pizza today (I didn't touch it), he later told me that he felt really bloated and nauseous after eating it. Ha! He's coming around to my way of thinking!

Each to his/her own. I know how much better I look & feel eating "healthy". That's good enough for me.
